 Here at C.A.R.S we have not only invested heavily in the workshop but also in the offices on all the latest software and computer technologies that are available these days. We have all the latest software and are updated monthly to keep in line with the continuous change in the vehicle market and computer compatibilities.

Below you will find a selection of screenshots of some of the software that we have at our disposal on a daily basis, from estimating the vehicle and correctly identifying the correct parts required, to the bodyshop software that creates a database of information on everything from the insurance company, the estimates and images of the vehicles to all the customer information that is required.

Eurotaxglass's GlassMatix

GlassMatix combines comprehensive and powerful data with a user-friendly format so now creating a vehicle damage assessment couldn’t be easier. GlassMatix has been designed to make it easier for us to find and use the product features that we want. Common commands are located on the new toolbar for easy one-click access. GlassMatix is more visual with a process driven interface and automated workflow. The customisable interface is user-driven which maximises ease of use and productivity. With its detailed and comprehensive database, GlassMatix provides a 'one-stop information shop' for us as a repairer. It uses motor manufacturers’ parts and labour data and Thatcham Times (TTS) for all panel and paint operations. Models from 29 manufacturers, complete with all body styles and model variants are included and integrated alternative parts data. All data is updated monthly, via DVD, so that we will always have access to the latest part numbers and prices. The inclusion of manufacturers’ mechanical repair data - times, part numbers and prices - allows mechanical repairs to be estimated too, giving further efficiency benefits to our business.

Glass's Guide Evaluator - GlassMatix has a direct link to Glass's Guide-Evaluator which provides a quick and simple way to obtain the reliability of Glass's used vehicle values in an electronic format. With a click of a button the full range of Glass's guide values can be accessed with a host of additional features that cannot be found in the traditional printed guides. Incorporating the latest technology, the software allows greater ease of access and effective use of this reliable and valuable data.

PartBase - PartBase is a parts and labour times look-up system that represents modern technology at its best. Developed to provide bodyshops, garages, parts suppliers, retail outlets and OEMs with comprehensive up-to-date parts information, PartBase offers users graphical on-screen parts selection. PartBase facilitates creation of parts lists and makes automatic comparisons between OEM and alternate parts prices. PartBase is fast, innovative and extremely user-friendly. The graphical and menu-based selections simplify and speed up the parts identification and ordering process.

GlassImage - Through this comprehensive imaging system, an unlimited number of images can be attached to each estimate. The images can be expanded to full screen size for review. Notes can easily be attached to images for more effective communication between Insurers and Repairers.

GlassComms - Glass’s WebComms system is an intelligent communications portal using internet technology. The system is used for sending GlassMatix estimates between Insurers, Bodyshops

and other parties. The system functions as a ‘Communications Hub’ with all information transferred through the Glass’s Central System. The central system facilitates many other Glass's services including... Midas, GlassMatix MI, GlassAudit, GlassMessenger and the new GlassView system.

 
Autoshop By MAM Software

The next few images are of Mam Software's Autoshop Bodyshop Management Software that we have in place that is a "one point of call system" that has every detail at the touch of a fingertip. Just by glancing at these screens we have every detail available to us from customers' details and vehicle images to even a simple colour coordinated parts information system where as you can see in the third image, received parts are in green while parts on order are in yellow.
